Terms of Service

Welcome to batao na — sab sach bol de. By using the service you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose. Read them.

Who can use batao na

You must be at least 16 years old, signing up with your own account, and you must use the service in compliance with applicable law. One account per person.

Anonymity has limits

Answers are anonymous to the recipient. They are not anonymous to us — we keep a salted hash of the sender's IP address so we can enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, and (if required by law) respond to authorities investigating illegal content. Hashing is one-way, so we can't casually reverse it, but we can group repeat submissions from one device.

What you can't do

• Send abusive, hateful, harassing, or sexual content
• Target someone's self-harm, suicide, or mental health
• Threaten violence, dox someone, or share private information
• Impersonate someone, including by signing their name
• Spam, scrape, or attempt to break the service
• Use the service for anything illegal in India

We screen every submission through an automated moderation system and we silently drop anything that trips it. Recipients can also report answers, and we may remove content or accounts at any time and without notice.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you write or receive. By submitting an answer or running a link, you give us a non-exclusive licence to host and display that content for the purpose of running batao na. We don't use your content to train AI models.

Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deletion is permanent — all answers received are erased and your handle becomes available for someone else to claim.

No warranty

batao na is provided "as is". We don't promise the service will be available all the time, free of bugs, or that any specific person will answer your link. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of your use of batao na is limited to ₹1,000 in aggregate.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you in-app. Continued use after the change date means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be resolved in courts located there.
